Dr. Mark Shalaby began his healthcare journey in medical school before discovering dentistry was the perfect fit for his creativity, hands-on skill, and passion for helping people feel confident. He thrives in cosmetic dentistry and loves helping patients achieve the smiles they’ve always wanted.
At Paradigm Dental, he’s built a friendly, ego-free environment where patients are treated like family. With an in-house lab, he and his brother provide high-quality care from a team you know and trust. Outside the office, he enjoys time with his girlfriend and goldendoodle, Walter.

Dr. Mike Shalaby
Dr. Mike Shalaby always knew that he wanted to work in healthcare and do something that would help people feel like their most beautiful, confident selves. He has always been drawn to artistic expression and working with his hands, guiding him down a path that eventually led him to where he is today. After realizing that the hospital setting just wasn’t for him, he decided to pursue cosmetic dentistry. Since then, he has relished in the opportunity to help people every day.
At Paradigm Dental, Dr. Mike Shalaby thrives on getting to interact with his patients, connect with them, and help them with something they really want and need. The marriage between art and science that cosmetic dentistry requires fuels his love for coming into the office every day and doing everything he can to truly help the people of this community feel their best.

Dr. Madison Wood
Raised in the Lake Travis area, Dr. Madison Wood is so grateful to be back in the place she’s always called home. From a young age, she knew she wanted a career centered around helping people, and she found her passion for dentistry while studying during her undergraduate years. For Dr. Wood, dentistry is about more than restoring teeth, it’s about building confidence, forming lasting relationships, and helping patients feel truly cared for.
Dr. Wood earned her Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University and went on to complete her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Texas Health San Antonio School of Dentistry. During her time there, she was recognized with awards for Excellence in Clinical Dentistry, honoring her dedication to outstanding patient care. She takes pride in creating a welcoming, comfortable environment where patients feel listened to, understood, and confident in their treatment.
